Baby shark, doo doo doo – that is what I wanted to sing all day! With a wedding at The Newport Aquarium you just know that everyone is going to have a blast exploring. And this couple – well it is all about fun and family! Some of my favorite moments were hearing the jaws music as a shark swam toward the front of the tank while the flowergirl was walking down the aisle! She carried the rings in a little shark coin purse. And the wedding cake may have had a dark side as a surprise to the groom. (Yeah if you can’t tell – he kind of likes Star Wars.) At the reception everyone let loose and it was so great to capture the candid moments. Stacey and Justin – thank you for inviting us capture all of the best moments!

If rain on your wedding day means good luck these two are going to have the best marriage – it poured all day. But that didn’t stop anyone from having fun! At Brian Manor we loved exploring the courtyard and the arches provided shelter. Then we headed back to Rolling Meadows Ranch for the ceremony and reception.  The cutest set of kids walked down the aisle holding a daisy chain. What a great way to include them in the ceremony. And one of my favorites – the second kiss – the one just after the ceremony that is excited that it is officially official! So much passion! The reception included a thoughtful toast from a husband and wife and emotional dances with parents. Twinkle lights in a barn – need I say more? Dana and Shawn we wish you two all the very best! Together you have proven you can weather any storm! A big thank you to their friends and family who covered the couple and us with umbrellas, held dresses behind doorways and made this one heck of a great celebration!

Visiting my cousins on family farms was always a part of our summer trips. So I couldn’t wait to catch up with this couple and to explore the sunflower field. We were afraid we were going to be rained out again however the evening turned out to be so beautiful. With rain boots and a sense of adventure we found our way to the field. Passing donkeys and goats we had to hustle to catch the last bit of light. Golden hour is truly my favorite part of the day. Beth and Eric thanks for being up for the adventure! I have been chasing the last bit of summer and I am excited to say that Fall is officially here! (Can I wear my brown boots now!!)
