Welcome Kelly and Alex

Category: Misc. | September 24th, 2017

I would like to welcome our newest couple Kelly and Alex! I am very excited to photograph their wedding celebration at Incarnation Church and the Dayton Art Institute next year. And I can’t wait for their engagement session later this year. We are going to have so much fun together with the fall colors as their background! Can we wear boots yet?

This wedding was full of fun moments! From the father of the Bride making jokes in his speech to the flower girls helping every step of the way. The couple is sure to have wonderful luck since hurricane Irma caused a ton of rain. We can’t even blame Ohio for the weird weather. Both families and the Bride and Groom were great sports about the weather. And the reception was full of great dancing with DJ Toad. Congrats Lindsey and Dylan, we wish you two all the very best in life!

We are blessed to work with so many incredible families. At this wedding at the end of the day – you couldn’t help but smile at how close they all are! Their love and respect is so encouraging. It carried throughout all of the little moments of the day. Seeing how supportive Aaron is when helping Sarah even walk from one spot to the next – it was so romantic. Without even saying much you can see their passion and love. The day started with a little bit of rain but Sarah was a great sport and wanted great outdoor photos. For the first  look we started in the backyard of her parent’s home. Then we headed to Devou Park for fun photos with the bridal party and family. We even got to peek inside to see how the reception was being setup. Then we headed to St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica for photos in the courtyard and the beautiful ceremony. The courtyard reminds me of a little secret garden tucked into the busy urban area of Covington. It was my favorite part of the day because the couple could just be together and not rush. And with the little bit of rain earlier the greenery looked incredible. Next Drees Pavilion made for the perfect backdrop for their fun reception. The dance floor was full! Sarah and Aaron we know that you two will support each other in all that you do – we wish you all the very best! And to their incredible family and friends and awesome wedding professionals – thank you, it was a great day!
