Congrats to MacKenzie and Bulent!

Category: Weddings | November 3rd, 2017

I remember first meeting MacKenzie and her telling me she loves vintage. So when I saw her in her adorable short dress I just knew we were meant to meet. Her Grandmother loved seeing her in a traditional wedding dress. After their intimate ceremony the rain stopped and we headed across the street for a few photos. The Fiver Rivers Metro Park was full of greenery and a great location for our backdrop. When photographing the groom he really brought out his model side – he could totally be a tux or suit model! Of course the smile was perfect because he was looking over at his beautiful bride! The next day we headed to Middletown to The Windamere a one of a kind reception venue that used to be a bank. From the vault to the antique chandelier – all of the details are lovingly restored. Their sign-in area for the guests included a lock box that the couple will open on their one year anniversary. They will have fun reading all of the messages and wishes their guests wrote. My favorite part of the reception was the dancing. His Mother was so excited to celebrate! Congrats you two and we wish you all the very best!

Fall is the perfect time to cuddle up just a little bit closer. It was so fun to explore Alms Park with Amy and Rick. Seeing the way they make each other light up and capturing their fun together in their photos – totally my favorite! They are planning their June wedding at The Bell Event Center and I couldn’t help but share my favorite cake makers with them. Amy and Rick I can’t wait for your wedding celebration next year! It will be here before we know  it!

Congratulations to Abby and Sean!

It is always so fun to see so many wonderful details come together on the wedding day. From the vintage touches like the different centerpieces on each table, her Grandmother’s ring and the doughnut frame the Groom made – it was such a unique celebration. Pyramid Hill offered a great mix of nature with the beautiful architecture of the Ancient Sculpture Museum. My favorite part of the day had to be exploring with the couple. We found little areas that were secluded and just perfect for a stroll. During the ceremony it was so fun to see the couple laugh. And the way that the Sean offered his hand when Abby started crying – so very sweet. You can just see how these two belong together! Congratulations to Abby and Sean – we just know that you two will always be there to support each other!
