Congrats to Catt and Pat!

One of the best parts of being a photographer is that you often pick up on little hints. A friend can’t help but share a bigger smile! And then she confides that she may receive a ring soon. I couldn’t be happier for my friend! Her favorite color is purple and his is blue. I loved seeing the colors together in the decor. All of her girlfriends especially loved her sparkly purple shoes! One of my favorite moments of the day was the first look. You can see the joy and love in their expressions and embrace. The beautiful ceremony with custom written vows was tearful. But when the pastor mentioned that Pat tried to put the ring on the wrong hand during the rehearsal and then Catt was trying to find the right hand for her groom – we all chuckled! I love moments like that. And then there were the blueberry macarons made by a talented friend that turned our tongues blue! The reception included many heartfelt speeches and welcomes to the family. During one of the speeches I loved seeing Pat put his arm around the Bride while the Groom’s brother’s arm was behind him. And the incredible cake even had the best flavor – black raspberry chocolate chip! Toward the end of the evening we took a short stroll by the gazebo and had a few minutes to soak up the last bit of sunshine. And together we reflected on the fun day! Catt and Pat, I am blessed that you picked me to tell the beautiful story of your celebration. I couldn’t be more excited for you both!
