Congratulations Kindal and Matthew
Saturday was a beautiful Indian summer day – just what Kindal’s mother had ordered up for the special day. The colors of the church and flowers fit perfectly with the season. We started photographing at their historic church, Grace Community Church, in Covington. The architecture was so inspiring. One photo that Kindal really wanted was a portrait by the huge stained glass window at the back of the church. Once I saw the window I knew we had to do what we could to get that photo. Because the stairs were narrow and dusty, Kindal had to finish putting the dress on up in the balcony. So we trooped up the skinny windy stairs with her dress and veil – I love when brides are as into the photos as me and they are ready to do whatever it takes to make it happen! The amazing photos were so worth it! After a few fun photos with the guys the ceremony began. My favorite part of the ceremony was watching the couple simply smile at each other. You could tell how happy they were to be in that moment. After the ceremony and a few family photos, we headed to The Briarwood for their fun reception. The reception was full of fun and dancing thanks to one of our favorite djs, Tom Winkler from T&F Music. Overall it was a beautiful day. A special thank you to Kindal’s brother Andy for recommending us. Andy and Gina it was so great to see you two and your family again!
The beautiful flowers were designed by The Country Heart Florist in Alexandria.
Gina and Andy are such a great couple!
